About the role
As Project Buyer you will be part of a cross functional team and global function with focus on supporting the organization on sourcing for new customer projects and future development programs. The position requires a lot of interaction with the different roles in the organization as well as externally.
In your role as Project Buyer your main tasks will include:
• Support sales and engineering with project cost/pricing objectives in close cooperation with the Commodity Buyer and up-to-date process expertise
• Timely delivery of Purchasing milestones in new projects
• Be the Purchasing team member in Knowledge Based Development (KBD) projects
• During the project phase: manage suppliers, compare costs with objectives, ensure quality during the project phase, respect delivery deadlines and, in particular, ensure that the project phase reviews, or «gate» reviews, are supported within the framework of the KBD process
• Secure capacity, pricing and leverage new volumes as well as active sourcing on carry over parts
• Undertake negotiations with suppliers in coordination with Commodity Buyers and contribute to the quotation to customers
About you
We are looking for you who have a relevant Bachelor or Master degree and experience in purchasing and/or project function is required. Experiences from the automotive industry is preferred and technical knowledge in Deco parts (injection moulding), Leather, Mechanical parts is a plus. The position requires you to have good working knowledge of MS Office and strong skills in Excel. SAP experience is an advantage. You are fluent in English, preferable knowledge of other languages such as German, French and Chinese is also valued.
You are well-organized and structured in your way of working, both when working independently and when working in a team. Good communication skills with the ability to easily connect with other people are required. Furthermore, you are solution and result driven with the capacity to prioritize and find right solutions to meet targets due to your desire to continuously improve day-to-day operations.
Important for the role:

• Knowledge negotiations and managing suppliers
• Being fluent in English

About the employment
The position as Project Buyer is an assignment as consultant with start immediately.
Initially, the assignment will last until the 31st of October, with the possibility of extension. As a consultant, you will have an employment in Adecco Sweden.
