Do you want to drive and execute purchasing activities in cross-functional projects and deliver on commitments throughout project phases? Do you have 10 years of experience within the area?
On behalf of our world leading automotive client we are now looking for a Project and Operations Buyer for their increasing consultancy. The consultant assignment will start in the middle of April and go on for 12 months with possibility for extension.

Arbetsuppgifter
As a Project and Operations Buyer you will manage all purchasing issues in your portfolio related to projects after supplier selection. You will attend in applicable project cross-functional teams, and ensure deliverables from suppliers to fulfill APQP activities handled by SQA.
You will be an important player when it comes to follow up, negotiate and track changes between contract and actual project needs. Capacity discussions and crisis management is a natural part of your work.
This will require for you to have the ability to work in an environment where drive and teamwork is very important. It is essential to collaborate with suppliers as well as designers and SQA's. As a Project and Operations Buyer you will be a member of a team of 11 buyers and report to the Project & Operations Manager.
• Forecast part cost evolution.
• Handle calculation request and manage all various purchase orders to ensure that the suppliers are prepared for production.
• Implement and follow up raw material fluctuations.
• Propose resourcing activities if needed; drive activities related to the supplier switch and ensure the sourcing part is handed over to the Sourcing buyer.
• Ensure collaboration with the other buyer roles within the respective segment.
