The Project Buyer reports hierarchically to the Division Purchasing Director and functionally to the Project Manager
Profile:
Bachelor of science degree (or equal) in engineering or economics
Minimum 2 years experience from strategic purchasing, preferably from the automotive sector.
Experience from international and national sourcing
English language at professional level in speech and writing
Experience from working in a project organization environment
High communication and social skills
Main responsibilities:
Make sure that the division purchasing strategy and policy as well as material standards and commodity strategies are integrated in the project work
Make sure to follow ISO/TS standards and internal TiSiX roadmaps
Controller of the purchasing package (Raw materials, commodities, tools & equipment, etc) within the project
Manage the Requirement files with suppliers and issue first RFQs
Coordinate Commodity Buyer and SQA activities within the project
Secure an early introduction of Commodity Buyers and suppliers in projects
Consolidate supplier data into Supplier selection documents and conduct supplier selection committee meetings
Project planning and follow up for purchasing activities within the project
To be the purchasing representative in project teams
White book and Lesson Learned for projects
The position is located in Mjällby.
