Kongsberg Automotive is now looking for a Project Buyer who would like to be part of building the future and aiming to constantly be in the forefront of our areas. The position is based at Kongsberg Automotive in Gothenburg.
What will you do?
You will strengthen our highly skilled, dynamic, and global Project Purchasing Team. Your contribution will have significant impact to Kongsberg Automotive' s bottom line result, but also on the development of the function.
As a Project Buyer for our Powertrain & Chassis Division you are will be executing Customer projects as well as Cost down and Innovation projects.
You will be part of a cross functional team and global function with focus on supporting the business. You will be part of a true global team and report to Åsa our Project Purchasing Director.
Your responsibilities?
Purchasing team member in the Business Unit/Segment's NPI (New Product Introduction) projects
Support sales and engineering with project cost/pricing objectives in close cooperation with the Category Buyer and up-to-date process expertise
Be the main purchasing interface towards suppliers during the project, lead technical reviews with suppliers, make sure project deliverables from supplier side are met on time and budget Undertake negotiations with suppliers in coordination with Category Buyers
Initiate and coordinate supplier VAVE activities, including organization of supplier days and workshop
Carry out project management, planning activities and maintain reporting

Who are you?
Relevant BSc or MSc
Good working knowledge of MS Office and strong skills in Excel is required. SAP experience is an advantage
Fluent in English, knowledge of French, German or Chinese is an added value
Well-organized and structured both when working independently and when working in a team
Accountable and with a desire to continuously improve day-to-day operations
Solution and result driven with the capacity to prioritize and find right solutions to meet targets
Technical knowledge in Mechanical and/or Electrical parts is an advantage.
