hela Sverige The External Relations & EU Projects Group at the European Spallation Source (ESS) in Lund, Sweden, invites applications for two Project Assistant for a major EU grant.
Description of directorate/division
The Project Assistant for a major EU grant will report to the Head of External Relations & EU Projects Group. The position is linked to the Horizon 2020 / INFRADEV-3 grant, which is dedicated to the individual implementation and operation of ESFRI projects.
Description of main responsibilities
The role of the Project Assistant includes the support of the Project Team in the implementation of the following activities:
• Coordination of outreach activities done by the consortium partners
• Gathering and analysing of information about potential new ESS Partner Countries.
• Identification of target groups and development of specific communication and stakeholder relations activities.
• Organisation of events.
• Development of information material.
• Make travel arrangements.
• Assist in preparing presentations.
• Register, organize and file various information/documents.
• Regular correspondence by email and phone with the consortium partners.
• Maintain the external relations database.
Qualifications
• Proven professional experience form a similar role.
• Experience in managing publicly funded activities.
• Academic degree in a subject relevant to the portfolio of the tasks.
• Deep knowledge of the EU institutions and the decision-making processes, as well as the developments in the field of Research and Innovation, Enterprise and Industries, Education and Regional Policy, including the respective funding program schemes.

Duration & Location
Three years. Your work place will be situated in Lund, Sweden.
