Job assignments
The applicant will work in the project "Managing multiple stressors in the Baltic Sea". The duties of the applicant will include analyzing plant pigments using an HPLC, measuring the C and N content using a high-temperature combustion analyzer and measuring biogenic silica using automated nutrient analyzer from sediments from the Baltic Sea. In addition, the applicant should calculate and interpret the patterns obtained.

Qualifications
We seek a project assistant with a M.Sc. to assist in a project to evaluate the occurrence of cyanobacteria in sediment cores from the Baltic Sea. The project assistant must have experience in working with instrumentation such as HPLC for pigment analysis, CHN analyzer and especially automated nutrient analyzers. In addition, the person should have knowledge regarding nutrient biogeochemical cycles in aquatic ecosystems. The project assistant must have good quantitative and analytical skills, and have good interpersonal skills to interact with a variety of other researchers.
