Skanova is the largest infrastructure company in Sweden and part of the TeliaSonera Group. We own and build the fixed copper and fiber networks in Sweden and sell capacity products to operators on the Swedish market on equal terms. We are responsible for the big fiber roll-out in Sweden, where we on a very competitive market aim to increase our fiber-footprint.
The Intership
Skanova IT is responsible for securing that the Skanova business has a well-functioning and long-term sustainable IT-support, that supports the continuous development and streamlining of processes and business. The unit takes responsibility for the total need of IT at Skanova (both development and maintenance), from the systems close to the customer to the more network centric systems like inventories and surveillance systems. Skanova IT consists of 14 individuals and is divided into four sub teams: Architecture and Strategy, IT Lifecycle Management, Change Control Management and Problem & Incident Management. The unit work closely with other IT departments within TeliaSonera and with external suppliers.
As a part of this unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a verity of tasks such as:
• IT assignments
• IT strategy and road-mapping
• Investigating and finding solutions to problems and incidents
• Business intelligence and development
• Internal marketing of IT
The internship will be in Farsta and starts February/March 2015 with a duration of 6 months.
Your profile
You hold a university degree within IT and have experience from IT development and maintenance, governance and project management. General economy knowledge is an advantage. Language used will be English however, it is an advantage if you can communicate in Swedish. Personally you are driven, positive and ambitious. You have developed communication skills and solution oriented mindset. As a team player you are social and good at understanding colleagues and stakeholders. You are analytical and structured and shares your ideas and knowledge.
