Titel: Programming Analyst
Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter:
We are looking for a Programming Analyst to our Programming Research team. Research at VIMN is a key element in all business decisions and as a part of this team you will shape the future of the brands MTV, VH1 and TMF in Northern Europe. Our team supports all departments and senior management with insights and advice regarding VIMN's audiences, channels, web sites and shows both on an operational and strategic level.
Key tasks:
• Be the expert on the performance of all our TV channels and web sites, for example by producing periodical reports for the brand team as well as international stakeholders in the organization
• Support all lines of business within the organization with relevant insights and advice based on analysis of viewing and online data. For example, you will be central in the program planning process
• Develop a deep knowledge of our audiences, for example by assisting with market research projects and applying these results to grow our business
• Optimize the business planning process by accurate forecasting of TV viewing and online traffic
• Proactively track market and competitive developments, changes in data supplier methodology, new sources of information etc.
This is a full time position located at VIMN Youth & Music head office in Hammarby Sjöstad, Stockholm.
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer:
You love numbers and their application to business with a specific interest in media. You have developed your analytical skills at university through a degree in economics, statistics, engineering or equivalent.
Relevant work experience, for example in media research or working with young target audiences, is considered a merit.
You must be skilled in Excel and PowerPoint while knowledge of TV or web analysis software is a strong merit.
Fluency in English, both oral and written, is required. Fluency in a Scandinavian language is preferred, Dutch or German considered a merit.
As the third member of the team you need to be result oriented, communicative, and structured, have a strong analytical mind and a reliable working consistency. You have a curious mindset, high self-confidence and contribute with drive, energy and a positive attitude.
