What you'll do
This is a great chance for you to take part in a talented team that works on creating social games that everyone can enjoy. You'll be working in a small team, with short development phases where collaboration is key. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
• Implement gameplay and support systems features in VR & AR games
• Work with other disciplines to implement graphics, animations, and audio
• Foresee technical problems related to your tasks
• Create technical designs and implement solutions with the guidance of senior staff
• Implement code that is performant on low spec devices like Oculus Quest
• Develop well-structured and high-performance code of high quality
Who you are
Requirements
Great coding experience, we believe to be successful you'll have a bunch of working experience as a game programmer.
• With work experience, we imagine that you have been involved in taking a game idea from early prototyping to finished product in a professional environment:
• Prototyping game features, usually in collaboration with designers from different disciplines such as Art and UX
• Transitioned prototype code into structured, production-ready code, while ensuring high maintainability and code quality
• Optimized the code to run on limited devices, both on the CPU and GPU side
• Passed QA for one or more storefronts
• Released the product and performed post-release activities such as bug fixing and live services
• Satisfactory experience in programming for mobile platforms
• Good knowledge of C# and Unity
Nice to have
• Experience of Perforce and Git
• Experience with network- & server programming would be a plus
• Experience of working with VR is a plus, as well as a passion for anything visual computing-related
