As a Programme Quality Manager, you work mainly for one or more Programme Managers; a Programme Manager has the overall responsibility for the contract execution assigned to him/her. As Programme Quality Manager your main assignment is to ensure that deliveries to customers fulfill (exceed) customer's expectations regarding quality, through mainly quality assurance (preventive) activities.
In this role you will typically:
* Act as our contact towards the customer's quality representatives
* Prepare quality plans, including flow down of customer's requirement and/or expectations
* Cooperate with quality functions/roles in the contract executions
* Plan and conduct Lot Acceptance Tests
* Plan and conduct quality audits
Your profile
We believe that you have several years of experience in production, purchasing and/or development, with an interest in quality matters. You have a Bachelor degree or equivalent. It is an advantage if you have knowledge in management/quality systems and quality standards.
As a person, you are a good listener and a driven communicator, especially in the collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders. Your language skills in Swedish and English are of course of high quality.
Travel may occur in this role and hence it is easy for you to adapt to different environments and cultures.
This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.
What you will be a part of
Dynamics, a Business Area within Saab, offers support weapons, missiles, torpedoes, unmanned underwater vehicles and camouflage systems to the defense market.
The Programmes Department, part of Business Unit Ground Combat, is primarily responsible for contract executions and product management concerning the product families Carl-Gustaf, AT4, NLAW and BILL. This includes responsibility for invoicing, cash flow, gross margin and the quality and profitability of the products. In addition, we have an important role in the preparations of quotations.
We invest in product development based on the needs of the market, with cutting edge technology. Our products are popular in the market and we have a broad international customer base.
The department is divided into three sections: Programme Management, Quality Management and Product Management.
