We are looking for a Program Manager to our Life Science Team focusing on global growth of, and foreign direct investments in, the Swedish Life Science sector (pharma, biotech, connected health, healthtech, medtech and diagnostics). As Program Manager you will lead global business development programs to lead SME companies to new markets, connect start-ups with international hot-spots, support companies to win large and strategic international deals and attract leading international companies to invest and grow in Sweden.
Your role is to be a power-promotor for Swedish life science, designing and coordinating promotional projects and activities in key markets around the world. The work evolves around Swedish and international companies' business opportunities and include enabling stakeholders from the government and private sector. All programs include innovation and sustainability aspects to act in line with Agenda 2030 and the Paris Agreement.

Higher academic degree within Life Science (Master of Science or equivalent).

You have preferably strong industrial background (more than 10 years) from the life science industry.

Solid know-how from business development in Life Science, with a strong technical understanding and interest in e.g.
• a specific therapeutic area
• research science, in-/out-licensing, co-development
• academia & industry collaboration.

Previous experience from management consulting is a merit.

Working knowledge of the Swedish promotional agencies and system is an asset.

A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English is a requirement. Swedish language skills are a strong advantage.
We believe you are a proactive, result-oriented person with a strategic mindset, strong business acumen and can-do attitude. Structured and able to drive many complex projects in parallel, a natural leader that can deliver results without formal leadership and across organisations. Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills, ability to inspire and engage different stakeholders and effectively interact with key executives and decision makers (C-level managers & Ministers/Government level) are all musts in this role.
As we work to build a strong life sector and collaboration across all of Sweden, travel to national life science hot-spots is to be expected.
