With the ongoing electrification and development of self-driving cars, we more than ever need to develop safe, efficient and reliable solutions to provide power to the electrical system to ensure the car availability. This requires continued skills development and intense collaboration between teams and other agile release trains to balance needs and expectations from all our stakeholders. We constantly work to ensure our quality by developing automated tests within the continuous integration context. We offers great opportunities for personal development both in novel technologies such as a brand new 48V electric power supply system and in leadership and team building. The teams consists of a mix between senior and young engineers all with a strong desire to develop energy management and power supply systems for the future.

As a Product Manager, you will have content authority over the Program Backlog for your ART. That means that you will be working to maximize the value by owning and deciding upon priorities in the program backlog from a technical and business perspective as well as developing the program Vision and Roadmap. You will work in close cooperation with the Release Train Engineer for the ART and the System Architect. You will be reporting to the Section manager, with a dotted line to the department manager.

What you will do:

- Be a member of the ART Management Team, alongside the Release Train Engineer (RTE)

and the System Architects

- Be responsible for the ART backlog prioritization and hence, lead the technical work within the ART

- Lead the product owners within the ART and secure clear backlog-driven development

- Collaborate and set expectations with product owners, stakeholders, customers and architects

- Balance the backlog from multiple directions: stakeholders, managers, LPM and product owners

- Prioritize features and negotiate enablers in the program backlog

- Set vision and roadmap for the ART

- Actively participate in the management team for the Product stream Base Software

What do you need to have?

To be successful in this job, we see that you have at least 5 years of relevant work experience. What is relevant? It could be that you have worked as a project leader, product owner, manager or similar within the responsibility of the ART or in another software or electrical engineering area. You have SW or electrical engineering development experience, and preferably in an agile environment. A university degree can always be a good thing - especially for this position within computer science or electrical engineering or equivalent experience.

To be able to prioritize, taking in new features and enablers, you also need to understand the technical area, to be able to judge the amount of work.

Your job is to motivate and keep a large group of skilled people working towards a common goal in the ART. To be able to do that we see that you have managerial experience from before, this is not a first-time job as a leader - you need to have hands-on practice.

As a person you are inclusive, communicative, team oriented, customer focused. You will be part of the section's line management team in which we would like to see that you are committed to participate actively as well.

You are curious and continuously searching for new knowledge! We like a hands-on approach to problems - learn by doing! Find new and better ways, and motivate teams to do so as well.
