hela Sverige The Field Quality Analysis function has the responsibility to maintain and develop new methods for field quality trend analysis for all Volvo CE products as well reporting in different cross functional forums. This role includes close interactions with several functions in Volvo CE as well key customers. FQA will from time to time lead and drive cross funtional product quality initiative. FQA is responisible for performing statistical analysis based on various sources; prioritizing and crating fast prepatations of all field quality problems to be resolved for all VCE products i.e. manage the field quality feedback. FQA will be a major part taking the quality escalation to its next improved level and strong contributor to reducing the number of claims/machine.
The function FQA is present in all main sites and has a pure global activity field with multiple interactions in the field as well inside the company, why travel from time to time is required.
Field Quality analyze is looking for a Program manager product quality/Quality analyst. VCE strategic initiative 1.8.
Main tasks;
• Program manager for Volvo CE strategic initiative related to field quality
• Support in define and setting quality targets for various functions
• Participate in various steering committees
• Inform, communicate and increase the cross functional co-operations between different function to increase Volvo CE product quality
• Actively participate in Further develop customized and efficient measurement methods for field quality to support in reaching strategic targets Lead and drive various quality initiatives/task forces cross functionally based on findings from statistical analysis
• For time to time do own "ad hoc" analysis of the quality situation and its causes
• Secure and execute durability methods and calculations for majority of Volvo CE's products and components
• Support all volvo CE products with quality trends reports and findings
• Strong contribution reducing the number of claims/machine by supporting all functions within Volvo CE with warrenty statistical analysis
• Drive for efficiency and continuous improvement
• Early detection of quality deviations by closely monitoring field quality data
Education/Professional Qualifications required for the position;
• Master's degree preferably within statistics or equivalent
• Experience from leading larger projects
• Experience from quality or relevant fields in the construction equipment industry
• Six sigma methodology competence or equivalent
Additional Important Requirements;
• Fluent in English both verbal and in writing
• Understanding of customer and dealer needs
• Travelling
• Strong skills in writing reports and other documents
