Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Program Manager to join our team.As program manager, you will take ownership of the Northvolt Ett project execution in a subset of the large-scale battery factory being built in Northern Sweden. Your responsibilities will cover both the design phase as well as the execution phase.Program managers are sought for the following areas of the factory: active material manufacturing (chemical processing), electrode manufacturing, battery cell assembly and process utilities (e.g. clean room, chemical utilities etc.). As program manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the delivery of the factory, from designing the program to commissioning the final equipment. You will be the key person in one of the largest factory projects in Europe, ensuring building, process utilities and manufacturing equipment is delivered on time and according to budget.As program manager, you will be responsible for prioritizing project resources, managing Northvolt partners and ensuring the cost and timeliness of projects are according to plan. Over time, you are expected to build up and strengthen the in-house team.The program manager will work across a number of different disciplines within Northvolt, including Construction, Process Design, Automation and Procurement. You will work with your project resources on a daily basis but will, in addition to that, have daily interactions with respective workstream leaders in Northvolt.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:In collaboration with the Northvolt team, designing and building a detailed project plan for Northvolt EttManage and coordinate project resources from Northvolt to ensure project delivery during both the planning and execution phasePlanning and coordination of installation and commissioning of process equipment, as well as process specific utilitiesManaging Northvolt partners, e.g. integrators and installation partnersFrequent interaction and coordination with Procurement, Process, Construction and Automation teamDay-to-day execution of installation and integration plan, meaning physically driving equipment integration on siteDevelop blue print for building the factory and enable fast replicationIn general, you have experience in driving and leading large and complex projects. You are execution-oriented and can motivate your colleagues and team to go the extra mile.You have experience from a 1st tier management consulting company, or experience as project manager driving greenfield/brownfield projects in demanding industries, e.g. Mining, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Semi-conductor manufacturing.You may have experience from projects such as building new sites, installing new equipment, and/or major re-work on current infrastructure. Your involvement in such projects has been in designing and planning and/or driving and tracking execution of such projects, as well as being deeply involved in day-to-day problem solving.You are creative, open-minded and willing to work on many tasks at the same time, from double checking a calculation from an equipment vendor, to filling out an excel template to leading a complex multi-month installation exercise.Education/ExperienceA relevant university degree (B.Sc. / M.Sc. or similar). Engineering degree preferred but not required5+ years working experience from 1st tier management consulting company or 7+ years as project manager in demanding industrial environmentTrack record as project manager driving complex projects in brownfield or greenfield expansion, either in planning and designing phase, and/or execution phaseMust have worked in multi-cultural environmentSpecific Skills/AbilitiesExcellent English written and oral skillsHighly execution-orientedProactive and goes beyond expectationsHas a "can-do' attitude and an entrepreneurial spiritAbility to work under high pressure and tight deadlines, excellent time management skillsAbility to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independentlyApply with CV and cover letter or your complete LinkedIn profile.The role is based in Stockholm, but there will be frequent travelling to the factory site in Skellefteå.Planned starting date is ASAP.
