hela Sverige Northvolt is looking for experienced Manufacturing Engineers to join our Battery Systems department in Stockholm. You will be given the opportunity to develop li-Ion battery systems for traction and grid storage, as well as being a part of building the first European large-scale Lithium-Ion battery factory. We are searching for Manufacturing Engineers with experience of developing high performance battery modules and packs. You have experience in designing electrical products and panels for high energy battery packs according to current safety and performance standards and have been actively part of complete product development cycles for these products.At Northvolt, we all work tightly together with a simplified structure, and we encourage different backgrounds and level of experience. Do you have what it takes to be a part of our team?Northvolt is looking for a senior manufacturing professional to lead and integrate teams to ensure success in our battery module and pack production efforts. This role's primary mission is to facilitate both tactical and strategic discussions around building our manufacturing presence in Gdansk, Poland. Responsibilities include providing a complete industrialisation roadmap including determining key milestones in design, sourcing, supply chain build-up, line design, process development, and production ramp-up. The ideal candidate has experienced intense manufacturing ramp-up scenarios, ideally in electronics and automotive environment. This role demands intense attention to detail, understanding of manufacturing interferences, as well as superior communication and interpersonal skills to bridge an international team across a broad geographic area. This role requires a hands on approach and a strong intuition for manufacturing problem solving built on experience.Build & own the Northvolt Battery Systems industrialization roadmap across all key functions including product engineering, testing, manufacturing engineering, supply chain, business development, production, etc.Lead strategic and tactical operations discussions with both Stockholm engineering teams and Gdansk production teams.Act as focal integration point for the industrialization and transition of our products from prototype to mass production phase by managing all necessary constraints, workflows, technology, and operational objectives.Measure performance of supply chain & production operations, driving continuous improvement by inspiring team and installing rigor in regular operational forums
