Program Manager
The Husqvarna Group is the world's largest producer of outdoor power products including chainsaws, trimmers, lawn mowers and garden tractors.
We need to reinforce our IT-organization with a Program Manager in the Project Office organization.
Global Information Services
GIS (Global Information Services), the IS/IT department of Husqvarna AB is responsible for the delivery of IS/IT services throughout the group. The organization is based in three major hub sites, Huskvarna, Charlotte N.C and Shanghai.
The GIS Business Solutions (BS) department is mainly accountable for availability of business solutions. The Business Solutions department ensures that Group IT's projects are delivered in a common gated process on time, to budget and cost effectively. BS is the Single point of contact for Applications. Furthermore BS is responsible for the life-cycle of the business solutions in line with agreed portfolio, budget and architectural standards. Business Solutions is divided in four different teams, Project Office, Information Management Solutions, Solution Services EU/APAC and Solutions Services Americas.
The Project Office provides program management with oversight of the project portfolios for the business units within Husqvarna. The project office also provides project managers that drive solution development projects.
You will as a Program Manager have an oversight of all ongoing project initiatives within GIS towards the Sales & Services business units within the group. In your role as Program Manager you are expected to handle communications and dialogues with stakeholders on all levels in the group including executives.
The Program Manager will also take on the role as project manager for IS/IT-projects delivered by GIS. In the role as project manager you are expected to be deeply involved in planning and to take the full responsibility for coordination and controlling of the project from the execute phase to conclusion phase, meeting the project's requirements and ensuring completion on time, within cost and to required quality standards.
We seek you who match our preferred qualifications:
• Demonstrated, successful program and project management experience, preferably in a global organization
• Demonstrated success in managing system rollouts.
• University degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or similar area
• Familiar with project management methodologies (Project management certification(s) such as PMP, PMI, Prince2, etc. are a merit.)
• Ability to engage in complex problem solving and issues resolution in a multi-national environment.
• Functional expertise in one or more of the following areas: eCommerce, Shared Service Centers, Information Management/Business Intelligence, Demand and Supply Chain planning, Organizational Change, ERP systems such as SAP and JDEdwards.
• Strong ability to communicate both verbally and in writing. As we are a global organization this includes excellent skills in English
• Prior experience in the manufacturing industry and within the sales & service business area is a plus
