In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in developing a new generation of large-scale European battery factories. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsible for the management of a project or elements of a larger program within the Cathode Active Material (CAM) Programs Team.
Accountable for the safe delivery of the project or elements of the project scope to the agreed quality, schedule and cost. Scope may cover any part of the full project delivery cycle: conceptual, basic, detailed engineering design, procurement management, construction management, commissioning, and start-up phases.
Drive Health, Safety and Environmental performance of the project.
Project Engineering & Management activities, including coordination of: scope definition and change management, detailed planning, schedule control and integration with other parts of the business, e.g. Revolt, contracting & procurement processes incl. managing contractors and suppliers and their contracts with Northvolt, project resources from Northvolt and Consultants to ensure effective project delivery, internal and external stakeholder management incl. engagement with Lenders and Customers when required.
Qualifications/education/experience
Minimum 10 years industry experience, of which at least 5 years of relevant project experience with hands-on project leadership experience in demanding environment (such as large CAPEX projects, complex development projects etc.)
Engineering degree (B.Sc. / M.Sc. or similar) or similar is required
Fluency in English
Experience working in multi-cultural environment
Specific skills
Track record as project manager driving complex projects, covering both planning/ design phase as well as execution/ construction phase
Track record in problem solving, i.e. strong analytical skill required
Strong coordination and communication skills
Commercial and contract skills
Fluency in other languages (especially Swedish) is a bonus
