Ballast water treatment is one of the big growth potentials in the maritime industry, driven by environmental legislation. PureBallast - a system developed by Alfa Laval and Wallenius Water, prevents the spread of invasive organisms between the oceans. We have a market leading position and since the launch in 2006, we have sold over 2000 systems to ship owners and shipyards worldwide. In the coming years the business in this global and dynamic market will grow rapidly. We are looking for a passionate Program Manager to our dedicated PureBallast team. So, what are you going to do today?

Who you are
About the jobYou will lead a major change project aimed at implementing common processes, solutions and ways of defining our products to enable effective product lifecycle management. The already developed Alfa Laval "Trinity" includes Product Data Management, Product Configurator and Factory ERP System. For PureBallast the factory ERP-system is in place and the task is to lead the implementation of the PLM (TeamCenter technology) and the product configurator (Tacton technology), as part of the existing enterprise program and with the support of the central Alfa Laval teams. The project will have a large impact on the processes, people, information structures and IT systems connecting the corners of the "Trinity".
Key tasks:

Requirement management and scoping
Program and Project management tasks such as planning, reporting, resourcing, risk management and documentation
Deliver the project so that it meets the PureBallast business goals and user needs.
Coordinate with other projects that may be outside of direct control
Interacting and reporting with/to Steering Committee, Stakeholders and Line as appropriate.
Change management and communication

Who are you?You have an academic degree in a suitable field and experience from project work and management. Product architecture knowledge would be a very strong asset.
You have the ability to identify and solve problems at an early stage. It 's important that you can communicate at all levels and be team-oriented but not afraid of taking own decisions.

The PureBallast product is marketed and sold entirely by Alfa Laval and you will act within the global Alfa Laval organization, with many international contacts, both internally and externally.You will be employed by AlfaWall AB.
