We are looking for Program Functional Safety Manager!
Description
The Functional Safety Manager is a part of NEVS Program Engineering Management department. PEM department is responsible for executing the programs and attributes on a total vehicle level. Functional Safety is one of the attributes that needs to be managed thru the systems engineering process.
In you role as FS manager, you have to be diplomatic with Teams that are experiencing high pressure from demanding Timelines to be able to reach results. In the role as manager you will use your leadership abilities to perform basic FSM training of all employees and staff.
The role also involves:
- To build and maintain a Safety Culture and Safety Organization.
- Ensure Synchronization and further development of NEVS Safety Standards with all other Locations
- In charge of all Functional Safety related Topics.
- In charge of the FSM Part of the Development Process, Release Process, Vehicle Usage Classification, Vehicle Sign offs and all other FSM/Safety relevant Processes and Procedures.
- In charge of the Functional Safety relevant Part of SOR Packages, RFIs, RFQs and participates in Supplier Meetings and the Supplier selection Process.
- Owns the Template for the Development Interface Agreement (DIA) and is in Charge of the DIA Negotiations.
- Participates in Program Engineering Gate Reviews.
- Member of the Change Control Board, all changes to the Project, Product and Parts needed to be parsed by the FSM for Safety Relevance.
- Prepare the Introduction of SAE J3061 Cybersecurity Standard and the advanced Functional Safety Management for ADAS and autonomous Vehicles.
We are looking for someone who has:
- MSc or Higher University Level education
- 10 years of work experience in Automotive is mandatory
- Knowledge or Trainings in ISO26262 or similar would be appreciated.
- Experience of managing and measuring work with different cultures
- Experience of interpersonal savvy
- English and preferable a third language
