Proffice is now searching for a Program Buyer within the automotive industry. You will be responsible for coordination of program purchasing activities in cooperation with the commodity purchasing groups. In this function the position-holder does not only contribute to the overall goal of the company, but also to the goals and tasks of the purchasing organization.
The position-holder supports all program purchasing activities within the Customer Purchasing organization starting from phase 0 and over lifetime. Therefore you will be taking major responsibility for achieving the European goal- and action-plans.
To be suitable for this profile you should have a background within Sales, for an example as a Key Account Manager. As a person you should be energetic, organised,enthusiastic and driven. Ideally you have a university degree.
Your maintask will for an example include;
• Control and approval of all program purchasing activities and decisions in line with customer demands and commodity strategies.
• Provide financial expertise/support, tooling plus investment budgets, customer conditions, cost tracking and more in order to meet program and purchasing goals.
• Coordinate the supply chain requirements e.g. when/how to source, early sourcing, cross program supplier selection etc.
• Support of proper Make or Buy decisions.
• Improvement of program-profitability as well as of all purchasing activities for the purposes of continuous improvement through global sourcing, long/life-time reductions and more.
We are looking for a person who have the following qualifications;
Commercial or technical degree or relevant job experience.
Some years within the industry, automotive or commodity related, purchasing experience, operational and strategic involvement.
In depth understanding of purchasing tools and practices.
PC knowledge (MS-Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Controlling and cost analysis knowledge.
Knowledge of SAP procurement systems.
Fluent in englisg and german.
Experienced, organized and driven.
