To contribute to first-cycle and second-cycle studies and help drive the continuing work of building up food science as a discipline and related research environment. Teaching, supervision, planning and development of courses, and duties of an administrative nature are included. You are also required to follow developments in your own subject area as well as societal developments of general relevance to your work. The position is placed at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemical Sciences.

Qualification requirements
Demonstrated scientific and pedagogical proficiency in the subject area. Conducting your own independent, current research in accordance with accepted standards in the Food Science subject area, documented proficiency in planning and leading research and research work.
Other assessment criteria:
• Ability to obtain external research funding
• Experience of course development or equivalent
