Helly Hansen AS is seeking a Junior Product Developer for our Workwear Category.
Job purpose: Assist in all aspects of the product development process, including establishing and communicating all specifications for fit, sizing, fabrics, trims and special construction details.
Some of the key responsibilities:
• Assist Product developer/Designer in all aspects of the development process
• Establish product specifications, including measurement specification, fabrics, trims, fit and construction details
• Create and update tech packs in PDM to be used by contractors
• Critique products and interact with domestic and overseas contractors
• Check bill of materials and costing sheets
Experience/Qualifications
• Textile education, garment construction, fabric and patternmaking
• Well organised with attention to detail
• Computer literate ? Microsoft Office programs, Illustrator and Web PDM
• English speaking
Personal attributes:
• Active in outdoors
• Self-starter
• Team player with high flexibility
• Willing to travel
