JOB DESCRIPTION
Axis delivers only high quality products and to maintain that high quality is essential to our future success. As a Production Test Engineer you have an important task to keep a high service level to our producers for support errands for the test system so that the producer can maintain a high delivery precision. The Production Test Engineer also plays a key role to design production tests which assure that no production malfunction will limit the camera to perform as designed at the customer.
As Production Test Engineer your main work scope are:
• Implement new production tests at the production sites and
transfer products between production sites which include
training of test operators.
• Support the production sites concerning test questions.
• Write Test specification and with it as base develop
production test sequences and product specific test
equipment for Axis products.
In your work you will also contribute to test system improvements. The position requires approximately 50 days of travelling per year.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
We believe you have a Bachelor's or Master's in electronics, computer science or similar and a few years experience from production test development and/or support. You have strong ability to collaborate across organizational and cultural boarders and you have good communication skills in English.
It is considered an advantage to have experience from Teststand, Labview and Bartender. As a person we believe you are hands-on structured, open minded and a good educationalist with collaboration skills.
THE PRODUCTION PREPARATION TEAM
The Production Preparation group is involved in all stages of a products lifetime and during serial production the group supports with test maintenance and product changes. The main collaboration is with R&D, EMS’s, the Configuration & Logistic Centers and the Quality department.
