Production Technician - Mechanical Maintenance & Automation

About the role
We are scaling up operations at our Åstorp factory and are now looking for a skilled Production Technician with solid hands-on experience in industrial machine maintenance and technical optimization.
Key responsibilities:
Preventive and corrective maintenance of production machinery and automation systems
Optimization and retrofit of existing machines
Working with industrial robots
PLC programming and troubleshooting
Collaborating daily with R&D, Sales, Production, Quality and other departments
Contributing to in-house 3D printing of machine components

Qualifications
Educational background as a Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or equivalent professional experience in a technical/industrial setting
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial machinery maintenance
Solid knowledge in mechatronics, mechanics, automation, electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Experience with industrial robotics - preferably Kuka and Yaskawa
PLC programming skills (any platform)
Comfortable working with digital tools and maintenance systems
Strong understanding of industrial safety and regulations
Experience of 3D printing and CAD

Language requirements: English fluency (written and spoken)
Swedish is a plus
