The Global Oracle Operation Team is looking for a skilled Oracle technician who can help us with daily operation in our environment based on Oracle 11g and Linux.
Our main customer is the Volvo Group but we also serve external customers.
Job description
As a production Technical specialist you are going to work with Costumer Support and problem resolving. You are also going to work with patching and implementing new versions of Oracle.
Technical competence requirements:
• 2 years of experience with installation, configuration and tuning of Oracle 10g and 11g
• Unix/Linux
• Grid Control
• Experience from migration
The general qualifications are that you have an adequate academic qualification and that you are a communicative team-player with a proactive mind-set and flexible in your way of working. You have deep skills in documentation and you have to have the ability establish and maintain good relations and also have the ability to work in global, multi-cultural organization. You are costume oriented and you have a competence sharing attitude against your coworker. You also have to be proficient in both spoken and written English and Swedish.
