Manager for a team of Design transfer specialists. Responsible for executing the ECR/ECO implementation process in the Umea Instrument manufacturing. Develop the sites requirements management related to ECOs both in NPI, TOW and Open projects. Driving rigor and simplification of owned processes is important tasks and also liaise with bordering functions such as Global Sourcing, R&D, Engineering etc. to ensure effective cross functional cooperation.
Essential Responsibilities:
• In leadership develop, coach and counsel the individual of the team.
• Set priorities for the team based on department goals and the sites priorities.
• Be responsible for department goals in quality, cost, compliance and safety (EHS).
• Evaluation, salary revision and discussion on employee progress.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree and some years' experience in operations management OR High School Diploma/GED and strong years applicable operations experience.
• Some years' experience working in a matrix environment.
• Dynamic and strong leader, capable of driving change, efficiencies and improvements across different functional boundaries.
• Understands complexity of operational supply chain
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results in an ambiguous environment.
• Swedish and English both verbal and written.
Desired Characteristics:
• Experience of GE HC NPI, TOW and Product care procedures.
• Experience from working in Magic PDM-system and Oracle ERP-system.
