To Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions we're now looking for a temporary Production Planner from February 2023 until January 2024. In this role you'll have a lot of daily contact with the different parts of the production and logistics department as well as Production Planners with our customers. About the job
In the role of Production Planner, you're working with production planning and material management. Together with your colleagues, you manage both short and long-term planning regarding resource and capacity planning in our production of carbide inserts. The carbides are then mounted into the tops of our Rock Tools drill bits in our factories in Sweden, India, and China. Rock Tools drill bits used in construction and mines world-wide.


Work tasks:
• Planning production in our production system Rob-ex, a modern system where production orders are optimized in the various production steps.
• Compiling data from multiple sources to analyze outcomes of made deliveries as well as future production capacity and forecast, updating the order book daily and setting weekly goals for production.
• Providing suggestions for purchasing raw materials and production capacity in the short and medium term.
• Compiling supporting materials for forecast meetings with our customers and leading these meetings.
• Purchasing indirect and direct materials (about 10% of the time).
The workplace is in the office at our production facility in Västberga, Stockholm. In the same facility is also located our Carbide Research & Department department.

Skills required:
• Higher studies in Supply Chain, Logistics or Industry Planning, e.g. university or civil engineering degree in industrial, logistics and production planning or Bachelor of Economics with a focus on trade and logistics, supply chain or equivalent working experience in production planning.
• Analytical and meticulous.
• Excellent computer skills and proficient user of Excel, being able to easily extract data from multiple sources and compile it into reports and analyses. You are familiar with pivot tables, use vlookup and other functions in excel. It is an advantage if you have worked with creating analytics in Powerbi or similar reports.
• Good communicator in both speech and writing in both Swedish and English.
• Work permit to work in Sweden.
