We are now looking for a Production Planner who wants to work in a technically challenging environment.
Ericsson Supply Site in Kumla is globally responsible for predevelopment, industrialization and initial production of the next generation radio base stations. We are the link between design and volume production. We make sure Ericsson's high technology products are manufactured with high quality, in an effective and cost efficient way. Our responsibility includes securing an efficient supply chain flow for our products globally.

Publiceringsdatum2010-03-23Dina arbetsuppgifterAt its core, production planning represents the beating heart of any manufacturing process. It's purpose is to minimize production time and costs, efficiently organize the use of resources and maximize efficiency in the workplace.
In your position the production planning incorporates a multiplicity of production elements, ranging from the everyday activities of staff to the ability to realize accurate delivery times for the customer. With an effective production planning operation at its nucleus, you will see that any form of manufacturing process has the capability to exploit its full potential.
You will deal with manufacturing planning and control which entails the acquisition and allocation of limited resources to production activities so as to satisfy customer demand over a specified time horizon.
As such, planning and control problems are inherently optimization problems, where the objective is to develop a plan that meets demand at minimum cost or that fills the demand that maximizes profit.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
We desire that you have experience from and knowledge of:
• college of higher education in Logistics or relevant
• electronics planning experience with PC software and business system of the SAP type
• knowledge and experience with purchasing, production planning and distrbution processes
• strong accountability and foresight with business sensibility.
We desire that you have the ability to communicate in written and spoken English and work well in teams. You enjoy communicating and have good communication and cooperation skills. You also have a strong anlytical ability and presentation skills.
It is an advantage if you have knowledge of production, product development and industrialization processes.
