Crane Currency in Tumba, Sweden, is now looking to hire a production manager to join our team. The role
As the Production manager for the paper machine you are reporting directly to the Director Banknote Paper and are member of the Management team Paper Mill. You are the manager for 41 people (both Paper Machine and Mould shop), but only 3 reporting directly.
Your main responsibilities are:
• Lead the organization according to Crane AB:s policies and management system for the areas Security, Working environment, Quality, Delivery, Economy and Growth
• Achieve long and short term results according to the business plan and budget for the department
• Formulate and implement methods and ways of working to make it possible for Crane AB to maximize the performance and results according to commercial, operating and profitability goals
• Continously develop all processes with focus to increase quality, productivity and cost efficiency
• Lead and develop the organization to high knowledge, skills, motivation and a commercial mindset in all aspects
• Be a member of the Factory Management group incl. participate in the management back-up group every eighth week (on call duty)
Qualifications
The right candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar. Further you have several years experience in manufacturing and quality, preferably in paper industry. Manager experience from production a minimum of 5 years is required. You are fluent in English and swedish, both spoken and in writing. To be successful in this position it is important that you are a natural leader with strong result orientation, excellent communication, documentation and teamwork skills. Exhibit a positive attitude and initiative. Experience from 24/7 operation is preffered. You need to understand the dynamics of working in a cross-cultural, multi-site organization.
