Outokumpu Prefab AB is a small international subsidiary of Outokumpu Stainless AB. We are a world leader in the manufacture of suction roll shell blanks, which in simple terms are "big tubes" for the paper industry. All manufacturing is done against customer orders and there are great demands on the work environment, quality and delivery performance. We work closely together through the different stages of the manufacturing process, which creates a familiar feeling among the company's 36 employees.
In the role as Production Manager at Outokumpu Prefab AB, you lead, are responsible for and develop production and your staff towards agreed goals. You report to the company's MD and you are part of the management team. Responsibilities:
Develop staff and organization to jointly achieve our goals in protection & safety, productivity, quality, availability, cost and customer satisfaction.
Lead 30 employees with main responsibility for all staff, negotiations, organizational and staff development, planning, etc.
Responsibility for the internal and external environment, which means that you lead the safety work via our work environment committee and participate in the local cooperation as well as act as coordination manager for the external environment and lead the work through our management system (ISO 14001).
Development of manufacturing and working methods in close cooperation with our quality and technology department as well as the logistics department and before third-party bodies.
Run the development projects that include production and, where applicable, investments.
Qualifications:
M.Sc. in Engineering within Materials, Metallurgy or equivalent.
Experience in leadership and people management.
Previous experience in stainless steel or engineering industry.
You have a good ability to see the big picture, take initiatives and drive the work forward in a strategic and structured way.
You are positive, outgoing, have good collaborative skills and make good decisions under varying conditions.
Fluent in English and Swedish, both written spoken.
Good computer skills.
