Scania is undergoing a transformation from being a leading supplier of trucks, buses, and engines to providing complete and sustainable transport solutions. Together with TRATON and our sister brands MAN, Volkswagen Truck & Bus, and International, we are shaping the future of mobility with innovative and environmentally conscious solutions. Our values - customer first, respect, team spirit, responsibility, and elimination of waste - are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we are leading the way toward a sustainable future.

Role Summary
We are looking for a Production Manager for the Paint Shop who will play a key role in driving production, quality, and innovation within Scania Oskarshamn. The main focus will be to lead and develop the production process, working methods, and team culture, ensuring that our paint shop operates with safety, efficiency and sustainability at its core.

At the same time, you will be a key driver of change, leading the Paint Shop through a period of major development projects and preparing the organization for future production demands. This role requires a leader who can balance daily operations with long-term transformation, ensuring that we implement new technologies, improve processes, and strengthen our leadership culture. If you are passionate about leading people, managing change, and shaping the future of production, we encourage you to apply!

Job Responsibilities
As Production Manager, you will lead the development of production processes, working methods, and improvement initiatives in the paint shop, ensuring efficiency, quality, and sustainability. You will collaborate closely with the maintenance organization, SPS office, Scania and TRATON networks to align strategies and optimize operations.

You will have overall responsibility for personnel, work environment, quality, and financial performance, fostering a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement. A key focus will be leading change management efforts to enhance operational excellence and prepare the paint shop for future advancements. Reporting directly to the Site Manager, you will play an integral role in shaping the plant's strategic direction.

Who You Are
We are looking for an engaging leader with a passion for people, production, and continuous improvement. To succeed in this role, you should have extensive experience in personnel management and a strong track record in leading production teams. A solid understanding of Scania's production processes, operational control, and follow-up methods is essential, along with a structured, result-oriented approach and strong analytical skills.

You should have excellent communication skills in Swedish and English (additional language skills are a merit) and the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop your team. A technical education at the university level or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience is required, and prior experience in a similar leadership role is an advantage. Above all, you have a collaborative and strategic mindset, with the ability to balance long-term planning with day-to-day operations.

Application
Your application should include a CV, cover letter, and relevant certificates.
Apply as soon as possible, no later than 2025-03-12. Screening will be conducted continuously during the application period. Assessment tests and background checks may be part of the selection process.
