This Position reports to Production Manager.
Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced and driven Production Manager to join ABB Robotics and lead one of our key assembly departments. In this role, you will manage assembly of Track motion, our Delta and GoFa robots' lines, including material handling for these. You'll have the opportunity to lead an organization existing of 30 employees, supported by a shift manager, a quality technician, and a line technician, ensuring operational excellence and a safe, efficient work environment.
You will work closely with other production managers and be part of the assembly management team, contributing to strategic decisions and continuous improvement. An exciting challenge ahead is the relocation of your department to our new Robotics Campus in Västerås, Sweden-a state-of-the-art 66,000 m2 facility-planned for 2026. You will play a key role in preparing for this move and driving efficiency improvements.

Responsibilities:
Lead and develop an organization of 30 employees, including direct management of a shift manager, a quality technician, and a line technician.
Ensure achievement of targets for safety, quality, delivery, productivity, employee engagement, and financial performance.
Drive operational, tactical, and strategic initiatives to meet business goals and foster continuous improvement.
Collaborate with other production managers and actively contribute to the assembly management team.
Prepare your department for the upcoming relocation to Campus Robotics, ensuring smooth transition and efficiency gains.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in production, including profit and loss responsibility.
Experience in high-volume automated operations is an advantage, along with knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement.
Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills, with a focus on safety and quality.
Positive attitude toward change, proactive mindset, and ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
Independent, structured, and solutions-oriented approach to work.
Fluency in Swedish and English is required.
