Axis Ex AB is a small, ISO-certified production company producing explosion protected products for Axis Communications.
Who is your future team?
Axis Ex AB is the production company for Axis explosion protected products. The products are globally certified for hazardous areas. You will join us at an early stage and help grow the production team as we introduce more products to the market. The first Axis produced explosion protected camera was launched this summer and there are several more products in our roadmap for the near future.
This segment is a great investment and a whole team at Axis Communications work solely with developing new explosion protected products that we at Axis Ex will produce.
What you'll do as Production Manager at Axis Ex AB?
You will be responsible for an initially small team of production operators, with the task of growing the team as we expand our product portfolio and sales volumes. You will also work closely with a Production Engineer and Quality Engineer, to develop and improve the production processes. The production is ISO-certified, with several audits per year.
Being a small company, we expect everyone to have a helpful approach, take initiatives and support where needed, but these are the main tasks we see included in the role. You will:
Secure sufficient production capacity (operators and equipment)
* Hire, lead, motivate, coach and develop production operators including salary reviews and appraisal talks.
* Plan introduction education of production operators and keep the competence matrix up to date.
* Be responsible for production work environment and safety
* Ensure that production is carried out according to the Quality Management System, and you take part in all audits.
* Work with delivery precision improvements and KPI's
* Initiate and lead continuous improvements with your team.
Who are we looking for?

It 's important that you have the ability to promote a productive and good work environment. You have a positive mindset and find it easy to communicate, interact and collaborate.
You are comfortable with formal audits of Quality and productions systems and work continuously with maintaining high standards.
We'd love to hear that you have:
* Previous experience as a Production Manager or Production Lead.
* Proven track record of leading teams.
* Strong communication skills, both in Swedish and English
* Experience from ISO standards such as ISO9001 and ISO80079-34 (or similar) is a great plus.
This role will be located with the rest of the small Axis Ex team at Maskinvägen 1 in Lund. The area has security class 3, which means everyone needs to undergo a complete register control.
