As production manager you will be responsible for the seasonal placement, management and on time delivery of leather production for both womenswear and menswear.
This position is based at Acne Studios headquarter in Stockholm and requires regular travel. The employment is a parental leave cover for approximately 6 months.
Responsibilities
• Analyse potential pre-buy and drops delivery with production controllers considering lead-times for raw materials and production orders
• Responsible for fitting and standardizing the collection for production, in collaboration with the product managers
• Manage bulk productions from order placement to on-time delivery of products to the warehouse
• Managing the costing process and analysis of margins per product category and decide on negotiation strategies going towards suppliers
• Responsible for continuing updated AX system and critical path
• Managing delivery dates and maintain close cooperation with logistic department for product deliveries
• Work closely with quality team and CSR team to ensure all quality requirements are achieved
• Keep good collaboration with vendors including on-site visits
• Ongoing assessment of existing supplier base and sourcing of new suppliers
Requirements/Qualifications
• Academic degree, from business school and/or textile education
• Minimum 5 years experience in a production/manufacturing/sourcing managerial role preferably from high-end fashion brands
• Highly proficient in MS Office applications - particularly Excel
• Excellent verbal and written English communication & time management skills
• A team player with strong social- and communication skills
• Experienced in working with high volume luxury products
• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships both internally and with suppliers
• Detail-oriented with strong follow through
