We are now looking for a Production manager to our facility in Limhamn, Sweden. PolyPeptide Group produces active pharmaceutical ingredients and are a world leader within production of peptides for the pharmaceutical market. As our new production manager, you will have the responsibility for our biggest production department. You will lead a group of 15-20 Process Chemists and You will be reporting to the Operations Director. Your responsibility will be to continue the development of our manufacturing operations with focus on increased efficiency and capacity, while maintaining a high level of quality. A major challenge will be to identify and prioritize the right tasks within the limits of a dynamic commercial manufacturing environment. We expect a sense of detail and the use of lean tools to assist and guide you with this. As a person you have the relevant education e.g. chemical engineering, chemistry, pharmaceuticals sciences or similar. You have documented managerial experience of at least 5 years, and you are used to working and making decisions in a controlled manufacturing environment following either GMP or ISO standards. A high level of communication skills is needed as well as good skills in written and spoken English. Fluency in one of Swedish or Danish is a requirement.
