You will be part of High Voltage Breakers, a business unit within the Power Grids division in Ludvika. High Voltage Breakers has a worldwide ABB responsibility for development, production and sales of high voltage breakers for power systems within both AC and DC. The High Voltage Breaker is an essential part of a reliable and energy efficient power system, and our markets are found both in Sweden and in other parts of the world.

Tasks:

Are you ready for the challenge to drive and develop the production department in a result oriented organization? Would you like to lead our production team to deliver on performance targets as well as to develop our processes through continuous improvement?

As production manager you will be responsible of the operational performance of our two manufacturing units, interrupter manufacturing and breaker assembly, thru your production management team. Key operational responsibilities will be to drive a strong HSE culture, to deliver products on quality targets as well as on time delivery to our customers.

Being part of the unit management team, you will also be part of creating the strategy of the unit and responsible to ensure that the strategy is communicated, discussed and implemented in your departments. You are responsible to build and develop your team members and drive process improvements both short term and long term in the ~200 people strong production team.

Requirements:

To be successful in this position, you have held senior positions within the operations/production field with previous leadership experience. You have a university degree in relevant field and experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or similar. Your leadership should be characterized by result orientation, openness to change, and the willingness to build a successful team. Your analytical skills enable you to define and prioritize the most important tasks for the unit and department.

As you will work both locally and in an international environment, excellent knowledge in Swedish and English is required. You like to take responsibility, are result focused and driven. As a person, you are creative, honest and value transparency.
