hela Sverige Vitrolife is searching for a forward looking, driven and highly skilled Production Manager who will play an active part in handling increased volumes and to develop the production system in Gothenburg.
The production unit consists of production both in clean room and outside, engineering, quality control, planning, administration and process development. You will manage 40 employees within the unit. The position is based in Gothenburg and you will report directly to Business Unit Director Media.
Core responsibilities
• Lead, train, develop and inspire production leaders and operators
• Drive continues improvement activities
• Process development
• Production planning and workflow management
• Manage production quality and possible quality deviations
• Maintenance
• Play an active role in new product launches
• Ensure compliance to security standards
Skills and qualifications
We are looking for an individual, who is analytical, structured and used to deliver on sometimes short dead-lines. You also have excellent collaborations and problem solving skills and are a very self-driven professional with a natural thirst for creating the best possible results.
We expect that you have a University degree of minimum bachelor?s degree in preferably in in Chemistry, Biology or Engineering and at least 5 years of experience as leader in a regulated production environment (ISO 13485, GMP or similar, food production etc.).
Other success criterias are:
• Excellent leadership skills and a profound experience of developing staff
• Extensive experience from continues improvements
• Profound knowledge within production planning and workflow management
• Experience of working in a business controlled by collective agreements
• Documented training in production development (Lean, Six Sigma or similar)
• Experienced user of IT-tools for production and planning, Jeeves is desirable
This position requires excellent skills in English and Swedish both verbal and in writing.
