Hylte Mill is a part of Business Area Publication Paper at Stora Enso and is one of the worlds largest producer of newspaper with an annual capacity of 870 000 tonnes. Hylte Mill is one of the regions largest private employer with 800 employees. The Mill has modern technology and well developed routines.
Description
We are looking for a candidate who is eager to lead and develop the production organization in Hylte Bruk.
You will be responsible for a total of six sections that cover the entire production process: mechanical and deinked pulp production, energy and environment, newsprint production and packaging / logistics. In total within these six sections, there are approximately 480 employees.
The role requires strong networking skills and a drive to communicate, as well as the ability to run complex projects and to make decisions.
You will be one of the members of Hylte Bruks executive management team, reporting to Managing Director of the unit. It is expected to share and take on an overall responsibility for the mill's development in both the short and long term.
Your main duties will be, through the six section managers, to ensure stable production with high productivity and efficiency in a safe working environment at world class level.
This includes challenges such as long-term competence development, development of working methods and organisation, and cost effectiveness.
Innovation and development of structures and processes are strong guiding principles.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced and result oriented person, with:
• University degree, preferably in chemistry or engineering
(or equivalent practical experience)
• Work experience, several years experience in management position leading people.
• Proven negotiation and deal-making skills
• Proven leadership skills with ability to motivate and lead a large organization
through others.
• Self-initiative, open minded, solution oriented with good networking skills and
drive to communicate
• Ability to run complex projects and to take decisions
• Flexibility and intercultural skills
• Express yourself well in speech and writing in both English and Swedish
• You also have a well-developed desire and experience with good business acumen and look forward to frequent customer contacts.
