hela Sverige Our site in Perstorp has just been through a reorganization of the site in order to improve cooperation between the factories and to find additional synergies. One effect of this reorganization is that we have built up a new factory management team for our five plants we have at the Perstorp site. We are now in the process of finding the last piece of the puzzle, a Production Manager for the special polyols factory.
You will be responsible for the factory and in short the position consists of three key areas; 1) Safety and Sustainability, 2) People development and management and 3) ensure optimization of reliability and efficiency of the factory. You will for example work with;
• Driving activities to meet legislative and company safety requirements
• Manage performance of the factory with regards to quality, volume and cost
• Lead, coach and develop a team of operations staff
• Drive, participate and contribute to site continuous improvement culture
The special polyols factory is the smallest at the Perstorp site and produces many of our special products. You will have about 15 employees reporting to you. It is an experienced team that are self-reliant and solution oriented.
A production manager will act as your mentor when you start your new position and you will have support from other experienced managers in order to help you succeed in your new role. Beyond this you will also have training in leadership, safety and other relevant areas.
You are probably in the beginning of your career as a leader and feel that you are ready for the next step. You are passionate about people and value safety for your team. You have a humble approach but can act with confidence in your role as a leader. Since you will be responsible for the performance of the factory it is important that you are goal-oriented and have the ability to identify and initiate activities which improves the safety and performance of the factory.
• A degree in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry
• A couple of years experience from process engineering
• Knowledge of process risks and safety requirements
• Experience as a Manager or Project Manager
• Fluent in Swedish and English, written and oral
