We are now looking for a goal-oriented Production Manager to join our business in Åstorp. This is the role
As Production Manager you will take charge of managing the daily production/operations together with three team leaders at our Åstorp site. Your primary goal is to ensure the site's production run smoothly, with an unwavering commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and cost efficiency.
In this role you will lead three productions shifts to motivate and handle on a daily basis. You have direct personnel responsibility for 18 employees. You are going to do complies with HSE regulation and rules and achieve Goal Zero target. Furthermore, you should be able to ensure production is cost effective and achieve related reliability targets.
This position demands a multifaceted and adaptive approach, and you will work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders to ensure the continued success and responsible operation of our productionsite in Åstorp.
Your areas of responsibility
Maintaining costs within the agreed manufacturing budget.
Meeting reliability targets and KPIs.
Continuous improving safety quality and efficiency performance.
Make reports of the production efficiency and statistics.
Be a forward, driven leader and support your staff.
Diligent user of computers and programs due to daily administration.
As Production Manager you are part of the Swedish Operational Steering Group.
You will report to the Plant Manager.

This is what you should bring to us
Bachelor's degree or higher educations or relevant experience and knowledge.
Min. 5 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment in a leading position.
Experience within corporate/global company structures.
Experience of lean manufacturing process is an advantage.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Good cooperation skills.
A courageous and natural leadership.
Builds effective teams.
Cultivating innovation.
Customer focus.
You master Swedish and English language fluently in speech and writing.
Good overall computer skills (SAP & Office programs).
From a practical perspective, you probably live in the immediate area.
You have a driver's license and access to a car.

Place of work & working hours
The work takes place at our production facility in Åstorp. Standard working hours are daytime at 07.45-16.30 (Monday-Friday), however there is room for flexibility in this position, we have flexible working hours and opportunity to work from home. You are willing to travel up to approximately twice a year if necessary. Monthly salary according to current collective agreement. Start date as soon as possible..
