Job summary
Production Centre Lund-Modena is part of the PSE Manufacturing & Supply Chain Integration - that assembles and tests Capital Equipment for Packaging (Filling Lines) and Processing Business Sectors (Liquid Food, Ice Cream & Filtration, Cheese & Powder) in factories around the world. We are, through our Production Centres, providing high quality products timely and efficiently to our customers. The main enabler for our continuous improvement and loss eradication is the World Class Management system based on Lean principles.
We are recruiting a dedicated Production Leader to the filling machine production in the Production Centre Lund-Modena. The position is permanent and you will be based in Lund, Sweden.
In this position you will be managing a team of 28 people who is testing filling equipment before shipment to customer. You will be responsible for overseeing and following up on the team's performance and delivery according to World Class Management standards as well as balancing stakeholder demands both internal and external.
The procedures that you will be responsible for will be implementing proactive and progressive systems to maximize output in planning, scheduling, and operating agendas for the factory.
You will also be responsible for ensuring safety, quality and efficiency while always promoting safety norms and standards.
What you will do
Be responsible for, develop and lead operation of production
Deliver according to committed targets and production plan
Manage the results of production key performance indicators (KPIs)
Take prompt action to solve process problems to ensure safety, product quality and machine efficiency
Coordinate between different working processes of the whole production unit
Manage teams and drive employee development
Follow and promote safety norms and standards
Be responsible for identifying losses and looking out for potential loss areas. Provide WCM support, to include running the pillars assigned to this department or its employees
We believe you have
Bachelor's degree level or equivalent skills or experience
5 years of experience of progressive leadership in a production facility
Good knowledge of production processes with multi-process experience preferred
Fluency in English
Excel, Word, Power Point, SAP expertise
High level of understanding of WCM methodology
AM/APM pillar knowledge will be an advantage
Ability to navigate technical discussion
Experience from leading and driving change activities
A good team player and respected leader of people
Strong ability to adapt and prioritize to the needs and expectations of stakeholder and execute on said needs
Strong understanding of KPIs, shortstops, losses, and waste and how to act on deviations
Strong ability to lead and develop others through long term view and empowerment of autonomy by acting as a role model in safety, quality, and efficiency
