Being involved in major improvement projects will you focus on coordination, development and implementation of smart solutions that take our factory to the next level of industry 4.0. As part of our driven team will you be an expert when it comes to machine communication and production related control systems. Your area of responsibility will reach from improving existing production equipment to being involved with expertise when it comes to purchasing new pioneering automations.

Your main tasks
As a production IT-engineer will you be the first contact when it comes to production related IT functions. You will be in continues exchange between production, automation team, project leaders and Husqvarna 's IT department (GIS). Your responsibility will include communicating and coordinating between these teams in order to realize major improvement projects such as: purchasing of new automation cells, develop existing production equipment and bringing us one step closer to a smart plan. With you expertise you will have daily varying focus on:
Project involvement - supporting project leaders and taking responsibility of coordinating and delivering IT communication functionalities
Machine communication - getting machines connected to reporting and controlling systems and by that enable valuable data and information transformation
Production control systems - gather production requirements related to machine communication and ways of working and communicate these to IT development teams.
IT related issues - facing upcoming production IT challenges and contribute with supporting activities

Requirements
BSc or MSc, preferably in IT/engineering or relevant work experience
Fluency in English in both writing and speaking is a requirement
A minimum of 2 years of working experience within a production related field is meritorious
Experienced in working with Power BI, databases, OPC-servers and/or PLC is also seen as very meritorious
