Main responsibilities
Acting as the link between product design and production, securing manufacturing technology, you will have an important role to prepare and support start up of manufacturing new designs in order to secure quality, cost and lead time. In the postition you will interact with different Tetra Pak organisations as well as external partners.
Some of your responsibilities will be to:
• Act as expert in relation to manufacturing technology
• Participate in early design phase to ensure design for manufacturing and review drawings from a manufacturing point of view.
• Lead corrective action work to improve manufacturing specifications
• Participate in design for manufacturing network to propose improvements and development of design checklists.
• Be the interface between design community and the manufacturing suppliers to secure requirements and targets in design checklists are fulfilled.
Qualifications
The person we are looking for has at least 5 years experience of working in a production environment with similar responsibilities. You have strong skills in design and manufacturing technology with good knowledge in mechanics, materials, quality assurance and drawings standards. You also have a good understanding of how design affects the production and the supply chain operations.
In the position we can see a strong informal leader with high personal drive and a passionate interest in manufacturing technology. You are accurate and have a structured work approach. You feel secure in the role to prioritize, make decisions and are able to use informal authority to drive people and influence. You have good skills in communicating with different kinds of people in different kinds of environments. You have a combination of an analytical and practical mindset, a good teamplayer who can take initiatives and drive activities independently. You will need to see the advantages of sharing your knowledge but also listen to the people around you.
