Axis Ex AB is a small, ISO-certified production company producing explosion protected products for Axis Communications.
Who is your future team?
Axis Ex AB is the production company for Axis explosion protected products. The products are globally certified for hazardous areas. You will be part of a handful very competent colleagues, and the team will grow as we introduce more products to the market. The first Axis produced explosion protected camera was launched this summer and there are several more products in our roadmap for the near future.
This segment is a great investment for us and a whole team at Axis Communications work solely with developing new explosion protected products that we at Axis Ex will produce.
What you'll do as Production Engineer at Axis Ex AB?
You will be responsible for developing and improving production as we grow our portfolio. The production is ISO-certified, so you need to be creative and flexible but within certain frameworks. Being a small company, we expect everyone to have a helpful approach, take initiatives and pitch in where needed, but these are the main tasks we see included in the role:
* Develop, implement, and secure manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools for NPI (new product introductions).
* Optimize the production layout and production flow.
* Be responsible for installation, maintenance, and calibration of tools/machines. Ensure their functionality and performance according to specification.
* Work closely with the development projects, mainly with R&D Mechanics, and Design for Manufacturing. Continuously feed back improvement suggestions to R&D to make our products easier to manufacture and test.
* Create work instructions.
* Support ongoing production with troubleshooting when issues occur.
Who are we looking for?
To be successful as a Production Engineer, you should be an independent thinker and keen problem-solver, also hands-on. You are creative and motivated to develop processes and influence the development of new products to be easily manufactured.
We believe that you are a person with a strong personal drive who enjoys teamwork and cooperation across organizational borders, both with operators in the production and engineers within R&D. You have strong communication skills, both in Swedish and English.
We'd love to hear that you have:
* A degree in engineering
* Proven experience in the engineering field
* ESD competence
* Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
* A strong personal drive, a positive mindset, and the ability to maintain good contacts with several parties simultaneously.
* A bonus (although not a requirement) would be experience with ISO standards; ISO9001 and ISO80079-34 or similar.
This role will be located with the rest of the small Axis Ex team at Maskinvägen 1 in Lund. The area has security class 3, which means everyone needs to undergo a complete register control.
