Dina arbetsuppgifterResponsibilities
The production engineer is responsible for continuous improvements of the production processes and production working methods.
In case of new products and in case of modifications of existing products he takes full responsibility for required changes in production.
He acts like a Project leader in many cases.
He is always searching for improvements. Shorter lead time, Higher efficiency, Better Quality, Better Working Environment, etc.
Authorities
He can shut down the production in case of quality problems on which occasion he is obliged to inform the Plant Manager.
He accepts or rejects products and takes appropriate measures.
He accepts or rejects supplied raw materials, parts, semi-finished products in case of non-compliance with the drawn-up specifications.
Position within the organization
The Production Engineer reports to the Plant Manager.
Tasks
• Improve and change of working methods.
• Calculate and purchase new equipment.
• Take care of and measure internal quality problems. Report them and work with preventive and corrective actions.
• Layouts and design of working stations.
• Method - and time studies
• Measure efficiency of processes.
• Calculate manufacturing costs.
• Participate in product change meetings.
• Participate in and lead improvement meetings.
• Analyse costs and implement cost savings.
• Propose and lead training programs.
• Work together with other functions in Clean Air Group.
Utbildning och erfarenhetKnowledge and skills
• Technical High Professional Education.
• At least 5 years experience in Production Engineering.
• Good knowledge about assembling processes
• Knowledge of logistic processes
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Knowledge of our business system Movex and electrical engineering is a plus.
• The company language in CAG is English and therefore good performance in English in speaking and writing is necessary.
• Good communicative and social skills
• Result-minded, pro-active and taking initiative
