Description
At Shelter Operations in Kumla we mainly install core network in containers, we also maintain demo shelters and have cooperation with Ericsson Response.
The role as production engineer, within the Shelter Operation, is a wide role with specific design competence regarding shelters. You will be responsible for product documentation of the customer ordered shelter and also "reversed engineering". Reversed engineering could be explained as having a dialog with and give feedback to the shelter designers at customer logistics - the purpose is to identify a suitable and final design that could be produced. You will also support the shelter organization with ordinary production engineering as layout issues, equipment and tools and with development of the production and material handling processes.
As production engineer you are responsible for final quality assurance.
You are working closely with the Supply Project Logistics leader and the Shelter technicians within the organization.
You will need to have a flexible way of working and an ability to prioritize and achieve results. Focus on process development and evolving the business is an important part of the role.
Quailifications
University degree, at least comparable with 120 points, or relevant similar training and experiences within production engineering.
• You are self-motivated with the drive to solve problems and expand your knowledge. You also need to have a high degree of flexibility and quality.
• As a person you are a team worker and have an open mindset.
• Knowledge in understanding CAD-drawings and adjust and make drawing on basic level.
• Production process development skills.
• Experience of Ericsson product portfolio is a prerequisite especially for core products.
• Experience of Shelter or business with similarities to Shelter is a merit.
• Good writing and verbal skills in Swedish as well as in English are a prerequisite since the work involves a lot of internal and external contacts.
• Good knowledge of electricity, both high voltage and -48v.
