Co-workers within Purchasing Development lead an exciting life! The goal is to meet the price, quality and quantity expectations of our customers. In our Purchasing & Logistic Area we are working with suppliers in northern Europe and have offices in Älmhult Sweden, Kaunas Lithuania, Moscow Russia and Dortmund Germany

IKEA Food develops and provides the food sold and served in all IKEA Restaurants, Bistro 's, Swedish Food Markets and the IKEA co-worker restaurants. IKEA Food has restaurants in 50 markets and every year 650 million guests are enjoying the IKEA Food.
About the assignment
As a Production Engineer you lead the engineering and quality agenda with the overall goal to improve the customer satisfaction. You are the main contact towards the suppliers and works as part of the business team together with the supplier to develop and secure the production processes, handling of quality deviations and secure compliance to all IKEA requirements. Amongst others you:
• are responsible for quality assurance and follow up
• perform product audits and production risk assessments at supplier sites
• are responsible for supplier development
• are leading the continuous improvements agenda from a production perspective
