Production Director Management

We are now looking for a Director for our Maintenance team. This position is a very important role in the Skövde Plant Organization as well as in the Skövde Plant Management Team reporting directly to the Vice President & Plant Manager.
The Maintenance organization has approximately 440 employees today.
Main activities and responsibilities for these roles
Be the driving force to develop the Maintenance process and organization to become a benchmark within our industry
Continue to develop our Maintenance strategy towards proactive way of working
Leading your team to support activities for optimization and stabilization of production facilities in the value flow, as well as all indirect material supply
Be able to lead strategic and organizational development for your function in collaboration with the production functions, as well as other support functions
Critical competencies and experience
We are looking for a goal-oriented leader with a strong drive to deliver and have the ability to continually develop and improve the organization and its employees. Excellent communication skills are essential to be able to build networks and create trusting relationships. You believe in building a knowledge based organization with a strong teamwork as a foundation.

Demonstrating a high and solid level in each of the Volvo Group Leadership competencies for the leading leader level, the Maintenance Director will be an inspiring and inclusive leader as well as an active team member.
The ideal candidate for this positions has a long experience and knowledge of Machining, Assembly or Maintenance processes, a University degree in relevant subject and experience from management within operations. Further, you are able to demonstrate a clear vision, a global mind-set and successful people & culture oriented leadership.
