You will be a part of ABB Measurement & Analytics in Västerås, which is a business line within the Industrial Automation division. We develop and provide a comprehensive range of force and dimension measurement products designed to improve control, productivity and quality in a wide variety of processes and industries. We are looking for a person with a strong drive, questioning attitude, knowledge in the field, coaching management approach and a passion for improvements. If this is you, come and join our team as Production Development Manager!

Your responsibilities
As our new manager for Production Development, you will lead a department with 12 skilled professionals. Your primary responsibilities will be to maintain and lead the development of our production processes and machinery. You will have a great possibility to make a difference and be a part of our future success modernizing the way we do things, reducing waste and optimizing production processes.
You and your team will also be involved in different types of product development projects with the responsibility to improve productivity, quality, and lead-time to make sure we stay ahead of our competition when we launch new products and/or features.
Moreover, you are responsible for the strategic development of your area and for ensuring that the team contributes to achieving the overall targets.
Managing your staff through coaching, daily support, goal setting and follow-up will also be an important part of your success.
This position is a part of the Production management team.

Your background
You hold a master's or bachelor's degree and have some years of management (personnel or project) experience within the Production area, such as change management, process improvements, development, industrialization etc. You contribute with your experience and ability to coach, support, and develop your coworkers.
To successfully take on this position you should be people and technologically interested, result oriented, structured, and persistent in your way of working and it's desirable that you have been working with Lean Production and Total Productivity Maintenance.
Fluency in Swedish and English is also a requirement.
