You will be a part of ABB Measurement & Analytics in Västerås, which is a business line within the Industrial Automation division. We develop and provide a comprehensive range of force and dimension measurement products designed to improve control, productivity and quality in a wide variety of processes and industries. Our unique measuring technologies are well suited for harsh environments which has provided us with a long track record of satisfied customers. We are looking for a person with a strong drive, questioning attitude and passion for improvements. If this is you, come and join our team as Production Development Manager! The position is a part of the Operations management team.

Your responsibilities
Leading a department with 15 skilled professionals.
Taking care of the development of our production as well making sure new products are introduced efficiently.
Involvement in product development projects in order to drive productivity, quality and lead-time issues.
Leading the work with the aim to reduce waste and optimize production flows.
Securing service and maintenance of our machinery.
Being responsible for the strategic development of your area and ensuring that you contribute to achieving the overall targets.
Managing your staff through coaching, daily support, goal-setting and follow-up will also be an important part of your success.

Your background
A Master 's or Bachelor 's degree and some years of management (personnel or project) experience within the Production area.
Experience working with Lean Production and Total Productivity Maintenance, are desirable.
Leadership skills as well as your experience from managing development and ability to run process improvement, are important.
You are driven, structured and persistent in your way of working.
You contribute with your great ability to manage change as well as coach and develop your coworkers and furthermore, you always strive to create a shared vision.
Fluency in both Swedish and English, is required since you will be working in an international organization.
